This property was the block of land that no one wanted as it has a sewer running through the centre of the block.  With a council unwilling to allow building over the sewer this presented a challenge because of the limited available land for the building and limited opportunities for northern exposure for winter solar heat gain.  Despite the challenges a 7 star rating was achieved.  The home features polished concrete floors & an internal rammed earth wall for additional thermal mass.
